A group of 14 can enjoy our gracious home w pool on the Gaviotas point with its incomparable views. 6 of the group can be accommodated just a few steps across the street in our neighbors duplex and studio.
Our home includes a private on point pool, hot tub, courtyard w fountain and bar, 2 inside wood burning gas fireplaces, 3 outside wood burning fire chimeneas, an ocean terrace fire kettle, 180° living room ocean view, white water, head on pillow views from every bedroom providing a embracing ambience few properties enjoy.
This 4 bedroom, 3 bath home is the only house on the prominent Las Gaviotas point.
It was the first house built in the Las Gaviotas community in 1971 by the original property owner of the development.
Because of that it is the best located largest lot in the original complex.
The point view hot tub is a wonderful gathering place.
The private plunge pool with 270° ocean views is a feature that is unique in the community.
We have two soft top surf boards, boogie boards and two stand up paddle board for you use. Also there are beach towels provided.
It is hard to describe the magic you immediately feel when you enter the courtyard of this gracious home. You are soon embraced by the warm inside surroundings while simultaneously being surrounded by the dramatic sea you can view from every room.

Saltillo floors are throughout the house.
Beam ceilings and traditional raised hearth large fireplace are in the warm and inviting living room.
Sit down courtyard dining is available for up to 14.
We can arrange catered dinners if you like.
Sea terrace dining is always enjoyable as is the inside dining area with the warm pizza oven ambience.
Maria can assist with the pizza oven for your own pizza night.
Evenings are enjoyable around the sea terrace sitting. With coffee table top off, it converts into a warming fire kettle.
Our home has authentic colonial detailing including a spacious outdoor flagstone courtyard with fountain and bar.
The private courtyard ‘outside room’ is wonderfully furnished with room for a mariachi band and dancing. Tropical landscaping makes this a special retreat.
The courtyard bar is always a popular spot to socialize where a shot of tequila is often found.
A nap in the courtyard hammock is always enticing
Every bedroom (and two baths) has head on pillow ocean views. Crashing waves lull you to sleep in every room.

One room has 2 queen beds.
There are two rooms each with a queen bed and extra single twin bed.
There are a total of 7 beds if your group is all singles.
There is on property guest parking for 3 cars

Our home is completely equipped. Sheets, towels, bath products, lotion, beach towels, dish soap, laundry detergent are all included for your use.

RATES & RENTAL INFO:
$1,300 per night by Venmo includes all taxes and fees.
Minimum stays of 4 (regular) to 5 nights in summer season May 15-September 15 and all Federal holidays, except Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, and Veteran’s Day.
Occupancy and community entry passes over 8 people are accommodated, for up to 6 additional people, by including bedrooms directly across the street in a two bedroom unit with a king, queen and twin bed at $175/night plus $35 cleaning fee.
and/or
a separate one bedroom studio across the street with a queen bed for an additional two people at $100/night.
A tip at the end of your stay of $25 – $35 per person is requested for our concierge / housekeeper Maria.
Day “guests of guests” from outside community or other houses in the community are not allowed.
All members of your party must be included on a community entry gate pass.
Parties, including congregating occupants of other homes in the community, are not allowed.
Our home is intended to accommodate your immediate group that has the pleasure of staying with you in this special home.
This is not a ‘rental property’. It is our graciously furnished and appointed personal family home for over 40 years, that is available for a few selected rental periods when it is not being used by family members.

SECURITY DEPOSIT:
A refundable security deposit of $500 is required.
The Security Deposit will be returned after we check there are no fines or damages.

CHECK-IN & DEPARTURE:
Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Check-out time is 10:00 am, however we usually can be very flexible with these times if you just let us know in advance.
Unless there are “back to back” turn arounds we are happy for you to enjoy as much time as possible in our special home.
Refunds – 100% 60 days prior to start, thereafter any request for refund or cancellation, will be 50% plus the remainder 50% if home is able to be re-rented for same dates by the next renter
